The project

To write a graphic novel (in French and in English) which looks back at the history, evolution and current issues of women's emancipation through cycling. For this, we are gathering stories, old and new, of women (and men who support them) who find emancipation and freedom and who question traditions thanks to bikes. Our aim? To show that the bicycle was and still is today an essential tool for women's independence, whatever the country or culture, and to promote individual journeys and initiatives that encourage the use of bikes for everyone. All that with a dollop of fun and humour.

Because we love to read them! And especially because we'd like to reach readers who may not be aware of the subject and pass on inspiring stories from all over the world using imagery and art.
